About University

University of Rajasthan is the centre of tertiary education in Rajasthan and attracts students from other parts of India and overseas. The central campus is in the city of Jaipur. The University of Rajasthan has 6 constituent colleges, 11 recognised research centres, 37 postgraduate departments and 305 affiliated colleges. The University offers 37 Ph.D. programs, 20 M.Phil. courses, 48 Master’s degree courses and 14 Bachelor degree courses. It has been accredited A+ by NAAC India.

History

The University of Rajasthan is the oldest institution of higher learning in Rajasthan. It was established on 8 January 1947, as the University of Rajputana with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and catering to the needs of the students of Rajasthan. It had jurisdiction over the entire state. In the year 1956, the Rajputana University was renamed as the University of Rajasthan, keeping intact its enveloping jurisdiction. With the successive creation of other universities, its affiliating jurisdiction has come down to only seven districts of Rajasthan, but it is still the hub of higher education in Rajasthan paving the way for the other universities.

About University

Banking University is a leader among Ukrainian universities that train future bankers and financiers, economists, entrepreneurs, public administrators. High quality of teaching, a European approach to research activity, modern material-technical base – became a guarantee of 90% of university graduates being employed. Over the course of its 75-year activity, University has repeatedly received awards and recognition of influential institutions. It is Ukraine’s first school of economics of the IV level of accreditation, certified by international standards of quality management system ISO 9001-2008.

History

According to the license (Series AB № 529 686 from 26.08.2010) the  Institute provides higher education in the spheres and specialties of educational-qualification levels “Bachelor”, “Specialist”,  “Master: “Finance and credit”, ”Finance”, “Banking Business”, “Accounting and Auditing”, “Economic Cybernetics” and “HR Management and Labor Economics”, and retrains specialists on “Banking Business” and “Finance”. It provides continuing educational of state officers and executives of state enterprises, institutions and organizations in the area of “public administration” (1501), continuing education of professionals of financial and credit institutions as well as training of citizens of Ukraine for entering higher educational establishments. In general, scientific and pedagogical staff of 11 departments of the Institute – 5 of which are entitles to grant diplomas, that is,  Banking Business, Accounting and Auditing, Economic Cybernetics, Finance, Economics and HR Management –  train licensed professionals. The Institute has been conducting over 20 practical and research projects over the past three years, and it has research laboratory of economic and mathematical modeling of financial markets and marketing laboratory.

Research

The University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine (Kyiv) also cooperates with Suzuka International University (Japan), la Escuela Universitaria Salesiana de Sarria en Barcelona (Spain), High School – Bank Institute in Prague (Czech Republic), the Baltic International Academy in Riga (Latvia), Swisscontact Senior Expert Corps (Switzerland), the Club of the Rectors of Europe in Oxford (Great Britain), British Senior Expert Corps and others. On the basis of the Memorandum on Cooperation the University actively collaborates with the International Financial Corporation and the subsidiary production unit “Accountancy Tuition Centre”. The University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine (Kyiv) is a member of international organizations:

• Black Sea Universities Network in Constanta (Romania);
• The Magna Charta of the European Universities in Bologna (Italy);
• International Association of Universities.

Providence of a society with harmonically developed specialists of high and post-diploma education, presenting new knowledge in medicine and pharmacy, rendering ethic, highly qualified medical service and strongly and deeply integrated into the world’s community.

Creation of effective model of competitive, innovation focused university, rendering highly qualified medical education, up-date scientific investigations on urgent problems of Public health, implemented in practical health care at a medical services market.

At the university there are 76 departments and 7 courses at 6 faculties (therapeutic, pediatric, public health, management in public health and pharmacy, general medicine, professional training and 2 faculties (pharmaceutical and stomatological) departments were transformed into modules (pharmaceutical faculty  5 modules, stomatological  9 modules)

The university has introduced and certified the System of Quality Management in the field of “Development and educational services rendering in the sphere of high professional education in medicine; advanced medical high school studies of doctors and teachers; rendering therapeutic  diagnostic services; carrying on scientific investigations in medicine”

History of Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov

In 1930 by RSFSR SP council’s decision the first  institute in Kazakhstan was founded. The first rector was S.D.Asfendiyarov, a graduating-student of Leningrad Military Medical Academy.

For great services and people’s public health  development the medical institute was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of  Labour in April of 1981.

In 2001 Kazakh State medical university named after S.D.Asfendiyarov was awarded the high national status of the university.

Research

International projects

Realization of Student exchange program is being implemented in frame of University’s cooperation with Kazakhstan and international partner-Universities. More than 50 students visited Ukraine, Japan, Italy, Turkey, China,  Uzbekistan pursuing academic goals.

Starting from June to December, 2011 around 94 specialists from foreign countries conducted workshops using the program “Foreign specialists’ invitation” (USA, Israel, Turkey, China, Hungary, South Korea, Germany, Russia, Belorussia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Lithuania, Italy, Jordan, France, Singapore).

Practitioners and teachers of medical Universities are invited to participate in master-classes free of charge.

Annually in the first days of December the University holds international scientific and practical conference “University Days” which includes lections from scientists with a world name, faculty conferences, student events (debates, trainings, competitions and etc.)
